The photographs at the Gdańsk Photography Gallery are of local, regional and historic nature. The bulk of the collection is Gdańsk photography and photographs from Poland’s former Eastern Borderlands. Recently, thanks to artists’ donations, we have considerably enlarged our collection of contemporary art photography from Poland and abroad.

Baszta Szewska - The Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice

A 3-storey building situated within the medieval city walls, between the Człuchowska Gate and the Shoemaker's House. Rebuilt by the museum in 1983-84 in a shape that preserves the original character and partly the original historic substance. At present, it houses a museum library with a valuable Pomeranian Studies book collection and a reading room.
