The Main Building of the Nicolaus Copernicus Museum is located in the Former Bishop's Palace on the Cathedral Hill. There was once a residence of the Warmian bishops here. The building was built before 1523, combining a thirteenth-century corner tower (previously housing a cathedral school) and a bishop's house (built in 1480). The palace was rebuilt many times.
Currently, it houses the main exhibitions of the Museum (biographical exhibition "Nicolaus Copernicus - life and work" and numerous temporary exhibitions).
